Our inspectors use The Home Reporter System, which we believe to be the best available. It consists of a nine page checklist report which includes maintenance tips, advantages, disadvantages and life expectancies of the major components in the home. This system, combined with the inspectors knowledge, provides an excellent education for the home buyer on the condition of the property and how to maintain the home. All on site inspections are performed by a professional inspector to the standards of the American Society of Home Inspectors.
Since a home inspection is an educational experience, American Home Inspections preference is that the client be present at the inspection. The inspector can then point out areas of concern during the inspection, as well as educate the client on how to maintain these items. The results of the inspection are recorded on the checklist report, which will include what the inspector observed, problems found and the estimated cost of repairs. Plus, you receive your report at the site. American Home Inspections looks for environmental hazards and can implement testing to protect you from harmful health hazards at your request.
